With very heavy two-stage iron barrel chiselled in high relief with bands of foliage and with a large trophy of arms beneath a sunburst on the breech-section, the ground gilt and with gold-inlaid band at the muzzle and line of foliage to each side of the breech, gold-lined touch-hole, tang and flat bevelled bolted lock each decorated en suite, the former with a standing rear-sight, the latter with stepped-tail, French cock, rain-proof pan and roller, walnut half-stock profusely inlaid with silver flowering-foliage and scrollwork and four trophies of arms including one behind the barrel-tang involving a shield bearing crescent moons and one on the butt including three crowns, cast and chased silver-gilt mounts including trigger-guard, spurred pommel and side-plate each decorated with further trophies of arms, trigger inlaid with a band of gold foliage, and ramrod with worm and engraved silver mounts
